customer relationship management- a company wide business strategy designed to optimize profitability, revenue, and customer satisfaction by focusing on highly defined and precise customer groups.

my company is chili's but I'm going to talk about all restaurants. when anyone goes to a restaurant we look for certain things before we eat at them the type of food, the prices of the menus, and how clean the restaurant is. when i go out to eat i look at the menu that is outside of the restaurant i look for the kinds of food they have one the menu as well as the price because i know what i want to eat as well as what i am willing to pay. ex i know i want to eat a chicken meals and i know i don't want to spend more the $10-$15 on my meal. the next thing i do i walk in an look around and see how clean the place is i look to see that the tables are clean, the floor are clean after i am seated i look at the silverware as well as the bathroom. in my opinion if the areas we see are a mess then what do the area that we don't see look like.

i have been to many chili's restaurants and i have only had one bad experience. me and my family were in Philadelphia and we went to eat at chili's we went in got seated and ordered our drinks got our drinks ordered our food, chili's was busy and told us that the food take a bit longer then it normally would. we waited about 40 min before the food came out the waiter kept on coming over to apologize and when he gave us our check he gave a coupon for a free meal at our next visit to chili's. we weren't upset about the service but i felt that he handled the situation very well.

Chili's has a wide verity of foods such as appetizers, soups, salads, sides, sandwiches, kickin' chicken , seafood , burgers , fajitas , steaks , guiltsless grill (healthy food) , baby back ribs, Beverages , desserts , draft beers.

i go to chili's all the time my favorite thing to get when i go there is there buffalo chicken fajitas and their country fried steak and i like to drink their mango ice tea and well as snack on the chips and salsa. the people who work at the chili's that i go to are very nice and their service is great.

 

week 10: Chilis promotions

Chili's right now has a promotion for a 3 course meal for $20 it is an appetizer that you share and 2 full meals

Another promotion of chilis is when you go to chilis website in the bottem left corner there in a small promotion where when you sign up for their E-club and you get a coupon for free chips and Queso.

Week 9: Advertising

Chili’s has many locations all over the world and I feel like the baby back ribs commercial is one of their popular commercials. They also have commercials about their prime rib stake, fajitas and there different kind of salads. As of today I think the commercial that is bringing in lots of costumers is their new 2 for $20 dinner. As a costumer one of my favorite things to get when I go there is chips and salsa and  the buffalo chicken fajitas. Chili’s has also appeared in many television shows such as the office episodes, The Client, The Dundies and Halloween. In scrubs they sing the baby back ribs jingle in the episode about Carla’s pregnancy because it was the only song with the word baby.

week 8: Retailing

Chilis is a restaurant so I am going to use the ace hardware location in Staten Island this ace hardware is called Doody and it is located on victory blvd. As a costumer that shops at Doody regularly I find that the people that work there are very nice people.  The bald guy in the commercial is one of the managers and he is always helping me and my uncle find the right stuff for the job as well as order anything we need. The guy who mixes the paint is always telling my uncle what Benjamin Moore  paint is better for certain types of jobs.whenever i shop at doody i always come out with a smile and the right materials for the job. 

week 6: globlal marketing

When i think of chili's i think of there baby back ribs jingle it always pops into my head. In 2004 Tom Faulkner for GSD&M Advertising of Austin, Texas. Advertising Age magazine named the song first on its list of "10 songs most likely to get stuck in your head".  Throughout the world the jingle and the giant red chili pepper is how i think most of us recognize chili's restaurant. Chili's has many locations in the united states as  well as thirty  international location such as Australia, Germany, India, Japan, and many more.
